The NBA has determined a glorious journey since its inception in 1894 standing on the threshold of 125 years, it is indeed proud moment for us today a momentous occasion to recapitulate our genesis and achievements, a moment to relish and claim some well deserved praise! This is not to say that we intend to rest on our kurels.
Year ago, under the leadership of some distant visionaries like Binod Behari Ghosh,Banko Behari Das,Mahesh Chandra Mazumder, Sndhengsn Banerjee, Jogan Ghosh, Dr.Jitendra Nath Benerjee, Avoy Raha, to Name a few, the NBA made its humble beginning as a group of Bengali enthusiast and ardent devotses of Devi Durga content to organize the annual Durga Puja Festivities amid a host of challenges. Over a span of 125 years, we have emerged as a socio-cultural organization that has attempted to consolidate cultural roots in this part of the comity and reinforce our social identity through activities beyond the scope of mere a Puja Committee. Our honest efforts have initially been directed towards net working with members of the Bengali Commity in terms of Socio-cultural events not excluding our core annual event- our religious fest Durga Pujo. It shall be our ongoing enterprise to generate and develop COMMUNITY BONDING although essentially apolitical In nature , the holistic of the bengoli commity shall be central concern, we hope to look forward to your contining encouragement and support in every way and turn reaffirm our newvering commitment towards betterment of the society cutting across commity, language, cast , creed and religion.
Keeping in view the changing needs of the society, NBA is always ready to shoulder responsibilities as an organization, which is recognized and well acclaimed, not only within the country but globally as well..
Lets create new bench marks. Lets march on.
